Questions about fees
Why does Defied charge for swaps and bank transfers?
Our partners charge for exchanging currencies and for moving money between your bank and your account. The fee you see is the total you pay, partner fees included.
When do I see the fee?
Before you confirm. Every swap, top-up and withdrawal shows the amount, the fee and what arrives. If a fee changes while you are reviewing, the app asks you to review again.
Do I pay network fees?
No, not on supported actions. Defied covers the network fee, so you don't need to hold another token to pay for it.
Can fees change?
Yes. When they do, this page changes with them and the app tells you about the change before your next transaction.
Are there monthly or account fees?
No. There is no subscription, no account fee and no fee to hold a balance.
