What it means
A wallet created inside an app when you sign in with your email or Google, with no browser extension and no seed phrase to write down.
The key is still yours: it's protected by cryptography so that the app can't use it without you.
How it works
Defied's wallet is an embedded wallet made with Privy. You can export its key at any time and use it in another wallet app.
